What a wonderful wedding to kick off our summer! It had almost been a year since spending a great afternoon with Tara & Erick shooting their engagement photos at his grandparents’ homestead near Five Islands and we were looking forward to helping them celebrate their big day. We arrived at The Baker’s Chest in Bible Hill to the smell of home made chicken vol au vent – that’s chicken and veggies in a homemade puff pastry smothered in a white sauce! While the bride and her family sat down to eat Shannon and I were able to get some good shots of Tara’s stunning dress and flowers. The B&B provided the perfect backdrop for all the girls to get ready for the main event. We met a very excited groom at the church with his family and groomsmen. Following the ceremony, Tara & Erick chose to have their photos taken at the old Debert military base. This provided a unique backdrop for some fun photos. The couple entered the reception hall and had their first dance as an appetizer for the wonderful buffet prepared at the Debert Hospitality Centre. Congratuations and all the best to a lovely couple!
