Scott and Tracy’s first date was to Frank and Gino’s in Truro – so how much fun to use this location for their wedding photos! Such a lovely couple, it was so much fun to be a part of their special day!
This was the perfect wedding to cap off a wonderful summer! Nicole and David’s story is one of a small town fairytale… a young couple who’s love grew from high school sweethearts. It was a real honour to be a part of their special day. The couple did an amazing job of planning the wedding, down to the last detail (I couldn’t resist showing more cupcakes and decorations than I usually do!). They were surrounded by wonderful family and friends to make the day a big success. Thank you to Nicole and David for letting us be a part of your celebration!
DJ and Mandi were married in a lovely evening wedding ceremony. Even the weather was perfect. Rain had been forecast, but the blue skies appeared for the beautiful bride and the day couldn’t have been better. Topping it all off was a sweet sunset. You could see such love in their eyes when they looked at each other, it was a joy to be a part of the evening as they start their life as husband and wife. Congratulations Mandi and DJ! Here is a few images that were my favourites.
Fall is by far the most popular time of year for family portraits. We always wait for the leaves on the trees to turn lovely colours, but even the grass changes to muted earthy tones. I love this time of year. I’d like to introduce you to the Benoit Family – just a great bunch they are! This session started simply – with a great phone conversation, we made a plan and had a great time. The kids still comment on “we took a couch into a field” adventure when they look at the canvas in the living room. This was also a great experience for me, as Shannon (the Mom in this photo) has started working with me over the last year. She is a great talent, and I’ve loved getting to know her and her family so much.
